Due to the alteration of visa issuance process and procedure, Indonesian Embassy informs all visa applicants as follows
The consular/visa hours: Monday - Friday (work hours)
Commencing from 1 March 2004, the process of visa application that has met the requirements will be finished within 5 (five) working days.
Please read the application form carefully and fill it up completely by using block letters. Application form available at the Embassy and its Website.
Improper/poor contents of form and incomplete enclosed-requirements will cause pending of the process.
Countries have free short visit Visa Based on the Presidential Decree No.103/2003, it is informed that commencing February 1st 2004, the following nationals shall be granted Free Short Visit Visa: Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, The Philippines, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Chile, Morocco, Peru, Vietnam
Note:
Free Short Visit Visa shall be used for the purpose of visiting Indonesia on a 30-day basis; such visa is non-extendible, non-convertible to any other kind of visa like stay permit and not valid for employment.
The foreign nationals specified above may enter and leave Indonesia through every Immigration Checkpoint.
Upon enactment of the above mentioned Presidential Decree, the Presidential Decree No. 15/ 1983 concerning the Policy of Tourism Development as amended by the Presidential Decree No.39/ 1986 is declared: Null and Void
Countries are entitled to apply for Visa On Arrival Based on the Decision of the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia No. M-04.IZ.01.10/2003, it is informed that the following nationals are entitled to apply for Visa on Arrival at the Immigration Checkpoints:
Arab Emirat, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brasil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Cyprus,Denmark,Egypt, Estonia, Finlandia, France, German, Greece, Hongaria, Iceland, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Laos, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Maldiv, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Nederland, New Zealand, Norvegia, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic Of China, Russia Federation, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, The Kingdom Of Great, Britain, United States Of America,
Note: A Visa On Arrival shall be used for the purpose of short visiting Indonesia on a 30-day basis; such visas are non-extendible, non-convertible to any other kind of visa like stay permit and not valid for employment. The process to apply for the Visa on Arrival (VoA) is:
Visitors complete the E/D card and line up at the payment counter.
Then line up at VoA counter, based on the payment immigration will put a stamp/sticker VoA
Then line up again at regular counter (passport control) for arrival stamp
