Thousands of people, on Wednesday night (02/09/2011) watching"Miyos Gongso Sekaten" The procession of moving two sets heritage gamelan from Bangsal Ponconiti Yogyakarta Palace toward Pagongan Gedhe Mosque Kauman. Two sacred gamelan, named Kyai Guntur Madu and Kyai Nagawilaga. The existence of both Heritage Sekaten Gamelan, Kyai Kyai Gunturmadu and Nogowilogo, is inseparable from the history of Islamic kingdoms in Central Java.

The Miyos Gongso procession begins at 20:00, begins with the tradition of "spread-udhik udhik." It is a tradition in which the Sultan ordered the Prince or Sultan's brother who becomes his messenger to distribute alms to the people who attended the Ward Ponconiti, and the servants of Wiyogo in charge of beating both of Heritage Gamelan. The Ceremony "spread udik udik" this year leaded by GBPH Prabukusumo, brother of Sultan Hamengkubuwono X. Alms-udik udik consisting of a coin, yellow rice and flowers, always get enthusiastic reception from all present, because it is believed will give blessings to the safety and welfare.

At midnight, the two Heritage Gamelan, Kyai Kyai Nogowilogo Gunturmadu and began to be prepared to be moved from Bangsal Ponconiti Ngayogyakarta Palace towards the Mosque Gedhe Pagongan Kauman. The procession was escorted by 2 soldier of Palace, namely Mantrijero Soldiers who guard the Heritage Gamelan Kyai Pagongan Gunturmadu towards the south and Patangpuluh Soldiers who guard the Heritage Gamelan Kyai Nogowilogo towards Pagongan in the north. The procession was also attended by all soldiers Yogyakarta Palace

On 23:00pm, the procession of Carnival Miyos Gongso starts in solemn mood, from gate or Regol Brojonolo towoard Gedhe mosque Kauman, through Supit Urang, Sitihinggil, Pagelaran and Alun-alun (square). Before reaching 2 banyan tree in the middle of the north square, the procession will veer to the west, directly toward Regol Gedhe Kauman Mosque.

Two sacred gamelan it for a week, starting on Tuesday (10/02/2011) until Tuesday (02/15/2011) night will be played at Pagongan Ndalem, Gedhe Mosque, Kauman Yogyakarta.
