Tuesday night, August 31, 2010 Djaduk Ferianto and Kua Etnika held a concert. The event begins at 20:30 at the Concert Hall, Taman Budaya Yogyakarta. The theme of the concert is Nusa Swara.
"This concert is part of launching the Kua Etnika new album. The titled Nusa Swara,"explained Djaduk. "Nusa Swara is our creative efforts to reinterpret the archipelago knowledge (wawasan nusantara). Nusa Swara can be interpreted; Nusa or 'homeland' as a national entity, and the 'Swara' or the voice that tries to ring the spirit of his homeland's it.
Enthusiasm the audience is very big because the tickets sold out come close to staging. In fact, almost no empty seats left for the spectators who came later. More than ten songs played by Djaduk and Kua Etnika with full of spirit. The song will be played is Tresnaning Tiyang, Bromo, Merapi Horeg, Matahari, Cilik, Kennanemi, Sintren, Kembang Boreh, Nirwana, Reog, Ronggeng to Latinos.
Nusa Swara Concert fronted by Djaduk Ferianto and other musicians of Kua Etnika Purwanto, Indra Gunawan, Agus Wahyudi, Benny Fuad, Dhanny Eriawan, Arie Senjayanto, Sukoco, Sony Suprapto and Wibowo.
Full of Surprised Concert
In the middle of his performance, Djaduk invite Glenn Fredly (Indonesian singer) took to the stage. Glen, who was wearing a green hat, is collaborated with the Tri Utami (Kua Etnika vocalist). The audience greeted with rousing applause and cheers.
Almost every turn of the song, Djaduk and Tri Utami threw up a conversation that contains jokes make the audience laugh. The other personnel of Kua Etnika did not want to lose a sensation. In a song titled "cilik", each holding a small musical instrument (much like miniature). The instrument is then played like a musical instrument in the actual size of them, drum, saron, and etc from the collection of musical instruments was created a refreshing harmony.
