The 6th Texcraft 2010: Textile and Craft Media PromotionAt 21 to 25 July 2010 in Yudhistira Room, Jogja Expo Center has held an international event: The 6th Texcraft 2010 titled "Indonesia Texcraft Showcase 2010". This annual event was attended by approximately 179 stand that dominated batik products and handicrafts from Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Central Java, West Java, East Java, DKI Jakarta, South Sumatra, East Kalimantan, West Nusa Tenggara, and special participants from Trengganu, Malaysia.
 
The opening of Texcraft 2010 took place on July 21, 2010 at 9:30 pm and was attended by figures such as The Minister of Trade who represented the Head of BPEN, Hesti Indah Kresnarini, Vice-Governor of Yogyakarta, Sri Paku Alam IX, Head of the DPRD DIY Province, and several guests from the Kingdom of Trengganu, Malaysia.
This year is the sixth time held and the place lively. The opening event was a promotional event for local textile products, especially textiles from Trengganu are packed in her fashion show at the end of the opening ceremony at Texcraft.

The backgrounds of Texcraft 2010, such as efforts to develop the Small and Medium Enterprises / Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) as well as media network expansion. Texcraft has also as well as efforts to encourage entrepreneurs or artisans to improve the quality of product. And also in order to compete in the market.
