Sunday, July 18, 2010, Jelajah Wisata 2010 entitled "The Spirit of Boko" has been held festive. This event was organized by the Tourism Office of Sleman Regency in the tourism area of Ratu Boko Temple, Bokoharjo, Sleman, and Yogyakarta and followed around thousands of participants from various areas in Yogyakarta and its surroundings. "The participants reached 1500 people," said Wasita, coordinator of Jelajah Wisata 2010 which found a few minutes before the start of the event.
 
The morning was sunny and the sun began to rise when the participants tour start just below the entrance of Ratu Boko Temple. Participants must be along the path along the 10-12km, the trail route through the garden and rice field area is dominated by the cool air along the mountain area of Ratu Boko Temple. Not only recognize the natural crossing of Ratu Boko Temple, but participants also recognize other area attractions such as Candi Barong, Dawangsari Temple, Temple Banyunibo, and Dam Pandanrejo has not been popular like Ratu Boko or Prambanan Temple.

Registration has been underway since last July 7, 2010 and closed July 13 at the Cultural and Tourism Office of Sleman District, Pringgodiningratan No.13, Beran. The participants have to pay Rp30 000 for individuals and Rp100000 for the group or groups containing four people. There are various prizes for the winners and door prize as two units of motorcycles, mountain bikes, television, mobile phones, mini compo, and other prizes.
 
But the number of participants tour that reaches 1500 people were not yet meet the target of reaching 3000 people. This happens either because they lack the popularity of Ratu Boko Temple. The activity of "Jelajah Wisata" is intended as an effort towards the promotion and dissemination of tourism sector in particular introduce Sleman. "This activity as one form of promotion Sleman tourism sector which has many temples to become historical and tourist icon Sleman that needs to be promoted.
