The Grand Aston Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center is a well-appointed 5-star international hotel & convention center, centrally situated on Jalan Urip Sumoharjo, which locals also refer to as Jalan Solo, adjacent to the popular Galleria Mall right in the very heart of Yogyakarta's banking and office district and in close proximity to legendary Malioboro Street.

Norbert Vas, Aston International's VP Sales & Marketing said, "The Grand Aston Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center is our second Grand Aston in Indonesia and is set to follow the smashing success of the its sister hotel, the Grand Aston City Hall Hotel in Medan. The hotel has been conceptualized to become Central Java’s preferred hotel & convention center; it is daring, modern and stylish bringing a breath of fresh air to Yogyakarta".

The Grand Aston Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center will be joined by a string of new Aston Hotels set to open throughout the island of Java such as the 4-star Aston Purwokerto Hotel & Convention Center which will open on December 21st and other 4-star Aston and 3-star Aston City Hotels in Magelang, Solo, Cirebon, Bojonegoro, Surabaya, Jember and Madiun.

Besides the arrival of Grand Aston in Yogyakarta, the Aston Group will also bring its Quest and favehotel labels to the city and is currently working on several projects with plans to open at least 3 new select service favehotels and one affordable lifestyle Quest Hotel by mid 2013.
