Merapi is the best place for trekking in June-August. The sky is clearly and no rain in the night. Along the path, you will hear some birds singing, watching green high pine and smelling freh air. You may start from Kinahrejo Village, Cangkringan, trekking steep path
to the top for 8 hours or start from Selo Village, Magelang, for 5 hours.

The trekking path is dominated with 45 degree
path rocks. It's an extra ordinary volcano trekking. In the top, you
will see volcano eruption in the closest view ever.

Some things are be prepared before you trekking :

• making sure the volcano is not active
  
• better starting to trek at 10.00 pm, so you can see  sunrise on the summit.
  
• Don't get trekking alone, better with local guides

• carrier bag
  
• camera and lenses
• flash
• fresh water
• raincoat
