For 400 years, there's no Ngaben ritual funeral in Java Island, until an elderly of a Hindu community who lived in Karanganyar, Jawa tengah, was died on silently. The community prepared his funeral; it's been a long funeral ceremony that was held by the community. The funeral was held in 13-15 February, first the body had been prayed and burnt in Candi Cetho, a hindu candi in Karanganyar, then the ash was brought to the sea, sowing at Ngobaran Beach on the 4th day. It's a long journey from candi until the beach, perhaps 4-5 hours on the road.
