Climbthon Merapi

Climbthon Merapi - mixing between walking and rock climbing will be interesting events for the tourists and local peoples. The event was first held in Yogyakarta will be held on 10 October 2010 at the National Park of Mount Merapi (TNGM) and the Museum of Mount Merapi (MGM) Kaliurang. This Activities held by Yogyakarta Provincial Tourism Authority will cooperation with peoples of Hargobinangun Village, Pakem Sleman.

The Event open to the public and students. For the winner will get total prize of 32 million rupiah.

Start will start from the Museum of Mount Merapi (MGM) to the National Park area of Mount Merapi (TNGM) and finish at MGM. The event was first held in Yogyakarta will become a new tourist attraction while preserving the environment for the community and love the youth generation.
