National Kite Festival will brighten the sky  of Glagah Beach, Kulonprogo, Saturday until Sunday (9 July until 10 July 2011). National Kite Festival includes five categories: two-dimensional creations (free) local and national, three-dimensional creations (nonkantong) locally and nationally, train (free) nationwide, the traditional national mancungan Yogyakarta, and rokkaku national challenge.
The festival is also intended to fill the school holidays as well as provide entertainment to tourists attractions. Kite festival to be held is a collaboration between Komunitas Pelangi Jogja and Disbudparpora Kulonprogo.
